CUPS is a unique identifier for your meter point. It always starts with "ES" and has 20 or 22 characters. Every meter has its own CUPS — it's what tells the grid which supply point you're talking about.

Don't see your provider? Look anywhere near your contract or supply details. The CUPS always starts with "ES" followed by 18 or 20 digits and letters. If you can't find it, your provider's customer service can give it to you. Tip: Open the invoice and use your search function (Windows: Ctrl + f, Macbook: command + f) to search for "ES" - that was you can easily find the CUPS-code without going through the whole document.
